About Advanced Labelworx, Inc.
In August 1998, Tennessee Tape & Label (TTL) located in Knoxville, Tennessee and Tag & Label Corporation (TLC) located in Anderson, SC became commonly owned by a newly formed parent corporation, Advanced Labelworx, Inc. TLC was founded in 1968 and TTL in 1971, both as pressure sensitive label converters. Since their founding, both companies have been selling primarily to the industrial label markets-OEM manufacturers with label needs that require agency approvals (ISO, UL, CSA, AGA). The majority of our products are used to provide instructions, warnings and product information. In 1985, TTL started TTL Medical, a division dedicated to the production of medical products. In 1990, TTL began its DatiMrk Division, to provide customers with the ability to print variable information in their own facility.
With the merger of TTL and TLC, Advanced Labelworx, Inc. became the 39th largest label converter in the U.S.(Package PRINTING, June 2000). In March 2002, the Tennessee operations were moved to a new facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. On March 1, 2004 Advanced Labelworx, Inc. announced its expansion into screen printing specializing in applications for outdoor power equipment, lawn and garden equipment, automotive, point of purchase, and other OEM applications through its Atlanta, Georgia based facility. |
