Advanced Labelworx Wins Performance Award from Denso
Oak Ridge, Tenn.—Advanced Labelworx, Inc. (ALI) was presented in December of 2004 the “Award for Excellent Performance” by Denso Manufacturing Tennessee, Inc. (DMTN). The award was based on ALI’s overall cost, quality, and delivery performance during the 2003 calendar year. Denso Manufacturing Tennessee, located in Maryville, Tennessee, was established in 1988 and produces starters, alternators, electronics & instrument clusters for the automotive industry. ALI produces labels for Denso’s automobile components.
Denso Assistant Purchasing Manger, Steve Davis, stated that ALI earned this award based upon their high marks in the areas of cost competitiveness, quality and delivery performance.
Lana Sellers, president of ALI, noted that, “Denso Manufacturing holds us to very high standards and ALI hopes to receive future awards from them by meeting the challenge they set and maintaining this level of performance.”
ALI was founded in 1971 and has its headquarters in Oak Ridge, TN, with a second facility in Anderson, SC. In addition to the manufacture of pressure sensitive labels for the automotive market, ALI produces labels for the appliance, automotive, electrical, chemical, textile, medical and pharmaceutical industries. Both locations are ISO 9001:2000 certified.
